What is the Foundation for SMURD?
We support the development of medical, technical emergency and first aid integrated system. Foundation for SMURD is a non-governmental organization, founded in 2006 as a private legal person, non-profit, apolitical, independent of any other institution or person.
The mission of the Foundation for SMURD is to improve quality of people life living and working in Romania, by supporting development
of medical, technical emergency and first aid integrated system.
By promoting transparency and professionalism, Foundation for SMURD supports, by all developed projects, the activity of Mobile Emergency Service for Resuscitation and Extrication (SMURD). Foundation for SMURD works independently, without a profit, helping to build a strong health care, emergency and first aid integrated
system through sustainable partnerships between competent institutions, such as, but not limited to, Ministry of Administration and Interior,
General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations and Special Aviation Unit, Ministry of Health, local public administration and other companies
and organizations responsible and willing to get involved in this.
