Basic ICU (basic intensive care) course – may 2018
During 3-4 May 2018, the basic ICU (Basic Intensive Care) course will be held in Târgu-Mureş, in the National Center for Emergency Medicine and Disaster Preparedness. The course is addressed to residents and specialists / primary doctors in emergency medicine / ATI with little experience in intensive care. The course includes theoretical presentations and practical workshops in a 1: 1 ratio. The topics discussed relate to critical patient assessment, mechanical ventilation, monitoring, shock, respiratory failure, trauma, arterial blood pressure, metabolic disorders, resuscitation, analgesia-sedation, etc.
A month before the course, participants will receive a course manual and access to a mobile / tablet phone application (including some presentations, course manual, algorithms) that must be attended. All the participants will take an on-line pre-course test.
